Brett Weiss

Brett Weiss, Principal at The Weiss Law Group, LLC, has represented people and businesses in all phases of bankruptcy for over 40 years. In addition to his law practice, Mr. Weiss is the author and co-author of numerous articles, blogs, and a book about Chapter 11for LexisNexis (Chapter 11 for Individual Debtors), and lectures and teaches nationally about bankruptcy and insolvency issues. Mr. Weiss has been in involved in a number of cases of first impression, and currently serves on the Board of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. He has testified before the Bankruptcy Rules Committee and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and has twice testified before Congress on bankruptcy and credit issues. Mr. Weiss has received international media attention in connection with his work.
