Aja Carr Favors brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her legal practice. As a former member of the panel of Chapter 7 Trustees for the Northern District of Illinois (Eastern Division), she possesses a deep understanding of bankruptcy law and recognizes the significance of diversity within the bankruptcy bench and bar. Aja's leadership as the immediate past chair of the Bankruptcy IDEA Consortium underscores her commitment to diversity and excellence in the field. In addition to bankruptcy law, she focuses her practice on tax-exempt organizations, business law, and data privacy.
Her dedication to diversity and inclusion is evident through her previous involvement in organizations such as the NABT, the NABT Foundation (former board member), NABT’s DEI Committee, and the Federal Bar Association. Aja's contributions extend to the legal community as a member of the assembly of the Illinois State Bar Association.
