From “Worthless” to “Workable”: How a Shift in Perspective Unlocks Hidden Asset Value

In nearly every bankruptcy case, certain assets are labeled early and quietly set aside—often perceived as having little or no value.

But some of those assets were never truly worthless.
They were simply misunderstood.

This session explores how perception shapes the evaluation and recovery of assets, often influencing outcomes before any formal analysis begins. Through real-world examples and field-based insights, attendees will discover how small shifts in perspective can uncover opportunities that might otherwise be overlooked.

Participants will leave with a practical approach to identifying hidden value, asking better questions, and reexamining unconventional assets with a more flexible and informed lens.
